The 250 Project is a nonprofit organization founded by three high school students, Kiran Kunapareddy, Akshay Salvar, and Saagar Perungulam with a commitment to supporting disaster relief efforts and underserved communities. Our mission is to make a meaningful difference by organizing donation drives that focus on collecting exactly 250 essential items for each specific need.

The concept behind The 250 Project is rooted in the belief that small steps, when taken together, can create a mighty impact. Like drops of water forming an ocean, every item we collect brings us closer to making a significant difference. By aiming for 250 items per drive, we ensure our efforts are manageable yet powerful, addressing the immediate needs of communities affected by disaster, poverty, and other challenges. Each drive targets a specific category of essentials, such as food, medical supplies, or hygiene products, to help people who are most in need.

Kiran, Akshay, and Saagar believe in the power of youth to drive change. As high school students, we understand that even small actions can inspire others to contribute and make a difference. Our project is about more than just giving—it’s about fostering a culture of compassion, collaboration, and resilience. We aim to empower people to take part in a cause that not only addresses urgent needs but also strengthens communities for the long term.

At The 250 Project, we envision a world where everyone, regardless of their circumstances, has access to essential resources. We are dedicated to making the world a more compassionate and resilient place, and we invite you to join us in this mission. Whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading the word, together we can build a brighter future, one step—and one drive—at a time.
